Abstract
A Brief Overview
Intro
As technology gets more and more advanced and new and exciting developments are being discovered every day we need to ask ourselves, are we really using our current technology to its fullest? And if not how/can we improve on it. That is the main goal and objective of this project on ultrasound imaging.

Ultrasound Imaging is perhaps one of the most versatile tools in terms of imaging and gathering information using sound waves. Using a small device called a Transducer to emit high-frequency waves throughout whatever being scanned to get the wave echoes in order to form a proper image.

What we hope to achieve in this project is to research and hopefully ascertain methods of improvement on this procedure. This would entail the use of such techniques as Quadrature Demodulation which would isolate and strengthen gathered frequencies as well as algorithms such as the Delay Multiply and Sum algorithm which was specifically designed to improve ultrasound imaging of which we will go into more detail further on.
